What cover exists for my shed or outbuildings on my home insurance?
Firstly as long as the buildings insurance section of your home insurance has a high enough sum insured then any buildings on your land are normally covered.
As for the contents of outbuildings, your contents policy will have a limit on this. Check with your own policy but typically £1000 limit is applied to outbuildings.
